Scheduling notifications

Notifications help campaign members notice app events that need attention, especially scheduling polls for the next session.

Where notifications appear

Open Notifications from the app header. The page lists campaign-related updates for the signed-in account, such as scheduling activity and other campaign actions that need review.

Scheduling polls

GMs can create a scheduling poll from the Sessions page in any campaign. The app creates a session record for the proposed meeting and sends in-app notifications to campaign members.

Use a poll when the group needs to choose the next play date but the campaign record should stay attached to the eventual session recap.

What notifications are not

Notifications are not a real-time chat system, calendar provider, email digest, or reminder service. They are lightweight app signals that help the table return to the right campaign action.

Good notification hygiene

• Name the session clearly before opening a poll.
• Keep the session record updated after a date is chosen.
• Use the recap after play so the notification trail leads to useful campaign memory, not just scheduling noise.
