TTRPG Manager

Session basics

Sessions capture what the table planned, played, and wants to remember later. They are campaign records, not real-time meeting rooms.

What belongs in a session

Use a session for:

  • Upcoming agenda or prep.
  • Table-facing recap.
  • Links back to NPCs, notes, locations, maps, characters, items, and questlines.
  • Private GM follow-up notes when needed.

Visibility

A session can be GM only while it is prep and Players once it becomes a recap. Player view only includes sessions whose visibility includes that player.

Planning and recaps

Use a session before play for the agenda, scenes, likely NPCs, open questions, and GM follow-up. After play, update the same record into a recap so players can return to what changed.

Good session records usually include:

  • What the table planned to do.
  • What actually happened.
  • Which NPCs, places, items, maps, characters, and questlines mattered.
  • What needs attention before next session.

Scheduling polls

Basic session records and scheduling polls are available on every tier. GMs can open a scheduling poll from the Sessions page with proposed times, and campaign members can vote or suggest alternatives so the table can coordinate the next meeting.

Calendar invites, reminder emails, recap emails, and weekly digests are not part of the current public app behavior.

Not a meeting room

Sessions are for continuity, not live play infrastructure. TTRPG Manager does not provide voice, video, live cursors, or real-time transcript collaboration.
